What is Outschool?

All OOP classes are held on Outschool.

Outschool is a 100% online educational platform offering a variety of course formats including one-time, short-multi-session, and semester-long classes. Most courses are taught live via integrated Zoom video platform, with a small number of flexible courses that can be taken asynchronously. Courses include academic, enrichment, social, arts, and life skills classes. Registration is easy and does not require providing any personal information. Payment for courses requires a credit or debit card. Most courses cost similar to those at community centers in the United States, and are often lower. Instructors go through a background check and courses are recorded and stored for student safety. Students must be 18 or younger to enroll in Outschool classes. Adults are permitted to stay nearby during live classes and are encouraged to message teachers between classes to keep open communication, but are asked to stay off-camera during live class meetings for the comfort of students.
